Product Manager (Gaming, IoT) - £45,000 - £50,000/annum - Manchester
Key Talent Personnel is working with a growing tech/gamng company in the heart of Manchester who are seeking a talented Product Manager from the Media/Gaming industry.

.Non Negotiable :

  • 3 years’ experience of Software Product Management
  • Solid understanding of digital technology and the software development lifecycle
  • Able to work on own direction

The role will consist of product managing all of these, however, in the future as our client  grows and the products mature our client may need to bring other people in to manage specific areas. This is an opportunity to be in at the start of something new and exciting and grow with the products and company.

Your responsibilities

  • To work with senior management and other stakeholders to define the product strategy. This will need to include competitor, user and market analysis. Once defined it will be your job to implement the strategy
  • Undertake competitor analysis to see where we sit in the marketplace
  • To know our products inside and out and be the go to person for questions about it both internally and externally
  • Perform internal and external demos of the product
  • Working with the stakeholders, define and own the product roadmap and backlog so that we are constantly adding value to the products
  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer needs
  • Work with the delivery teams to prioritise features and plan product releases
  • Make sure we’re always striving to have the best products on the market
  • Running workshops for the products. These could be training sessions or user groups of discovery sessions about new features or enhancements
  • Create goals and KPIs for the products so we can measure how they improve over time

You must

  • Have a minimum of 3 years software product management experience
  • Care deeply about the quality of your products
  • Be interested in working in the online gambling industry
  • Be able to work semi-autonomously. You will be reporting into the Managing Director who’s time can sometimes be limited
  • Be commercially aware
  • Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders. You could be demoing the platform to the CEO of a multiple billion pound turnover business or explaining how a function could work to a junior developer
  • Have a solid understanding of digital technology and the software development lifecycle
  • Be analytical in your approach
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational & time management skills
